Word lists
The dictionaries on this site are built from SCOWL (Spell Checker Oriented Word Lists) by Kevin Atkinson and contributors, distributed through the wordlist-english package. We filtered the lists to plain lowercase words of 2 to 15 letters and grouped them into four dictionaries by how common the words are.
SCOWL is Copyright 2000–2016 by Kevin Atkinson and is used under its permissive license, which allows use, modification and distribution provided the copyright and permission notices are kept. The full notice is available here: SCOWL copyright and license (text).
Typefaces
Bricolage Grotesque and Atkinson Hyperlegible are served by Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License.
Tile values
Point values shown in results use the common English letter values for tile games. Letter values are facts about the game, and no game artwork or branding is used on this site.
